2015  SummerWorks Festival - Guest lecture as part of S.L.I.P program / mentor to Harsharan Sidhu (Toronto, Ontario)

2015  Syracuse University | Transmedia Department - Guest Lecture in Dr. Boryana Rossa Advanced Video Class (Syracuse, New York)

​

2013 - 2014 ACI – Arts and Cultural Industries mentor for emerging composer Scott Jodoin - interested in video / performance and music. Over the seven month mentorship program we created a video / music work together that premiered at Ground Swell New Music Series in Winnipeg; throughout the process discussed cross-disciplinary collaboration in dance, moving image and music.

 

2013 Graffiti Art Programming Inc. 40ft x 8 ft Mural in Portage La Prairie - Designed and facilitated with Kevin Olafson- Created the mural with fifteen youth from four high schools in the region. Final location on the The Friendship Centre in Portage La Prairie, Mb.

 

2013 Young Lungs Dance Exchange mentor for emerging choreographers Rachelle Bourget & Sarah Helmer

 

2011- 2013 The Royal Winnipeg Ballet Junior Intensive Program - Choreographer | Individual Coach for 15 – 19 yr old students (modern dance). Created six works different works over three years; four solos, a quartet, as well as two group works, one of eight and one of eleven dancers. The works were performed at the annual Manitoba Dance Festival, select works were also performed at the RWB year end Dance Spectrum.

 

2012  Graffiti Art Programming Inc. two 30ft x 8 ft outdoor murals for Polson Elementary School - Designed and facilitated with Kevin Olafson - created with community and full school involvement - 150 students

 

2011 Icelandic Arts Academy Guest Lecturer in Second Year class called TIME, professor: Hekla Dögg Jónsdottir

 

2010 TRANSART INSTITUTE – MFA in New Media Thesis Advisor for 2nd year student (Video | Performance)

 

2010 OCHO Y MEDIO Artist Talk | Lecture | software demonstration “Media and Performance” (Video | Audio | Interactive tech)  For professional artists and dancers. Taught 3 x 3hr workshops in Quito, Guayaquil and Manta, Ecuador w/ a translator Co-taught software section with lighting designer / Isadora video artist: Hugh Conacher

 

2010 Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art | Authoring Action (Video | performance)

Devised and taught a one-week interdisciplinary art workshop called “Seeing and Being Scene” with Authoring Action a 15-19 yr old youth creative writing and spoken word arts program. Project facilitated with writer / filmmaker: Nathan Ross Freeman Winston-Salem, North Carolina

 

 2005-2010 Royal Conservatory of Music program “Learning Through The Arts

Guest Artist in Public Schools I have taught math, science and social studies through visual arts and dance in 13 different schools in Winnipeg School Division #1, St. James School Division as well as the Manitoba Expansion School District. Kindergarten, Grade 1, 2, 3, 4 as well as specialized English Additional Language classes and Fetal Alcohol Syndrome classrooms

 

2010 Nordic Arts Alliance | Minnesota State University Moorhead Guest Artist

Devised a lecture performance about my solo AVATAR, opening dialogue about social media with students from film and theatre departments Moorehead, Minnesota

2010 West End Cultural Center | 'Songscape Workshop' bringing together visual art and music (Painting | drawing | video) Facilitated / assisted lead artist Sharon Johnston interpret the music of Greg MacPherson with youth ages 12-17 over one week.

 

2002 – 2006 Graffiti Art Programming Inc. Evening and weekends Visual Art and Dance instructor (Painting | drawing | dance) Planned and taught drop-in programs for inner city youth at Turtle Island Centre, North End Winnipeg, Manitoba

2003 Canada Council for the Arts | Graffiti Gallery | Terminus 1525.ca One-week community art residency (dance) 1 of 11 artists in residence at Tadoule Lake Reservation in Northern Manitoba
